Weather durability. Wind uplift is the main cause of wind damage . Polyurethane foam enhances wind uplift resistance where traditional roofing systems will be effected by the partial vacuum created by the wind blowing over the edge. The vacuum pushes up on the bottom side of the roof assembly and loosens fasteners, reduces strength of adhesion, and makes roof vulnerable to future gust of wind.
